Senior Manager—I sit on the Strategic Projects and Initiatives team within the State Fiscal Policy division at the Center on Budget. I manage several regranting projects which fund various of the state groups in the State Priorities Partnership network. These regrant projects are funder-driven initiatives to advocate for positive changes in the areas of fines and fees reform, increasing anti-poverty programs, and tribal-state policy. I also produce some research products around tribal-state policy and local tax issues.
Senior Policy Analyst—I was part of the policy research team of the State Fiscal Policy division at the Center. I helped to drive a new initiative to improve the understanding of the link between state budget and tax decisions and equity. I created written products state tax and budget analysis with a particular focus on how policy decisions can enhance or impede equity by race, ethnicity, gender, and income.
