What is Book Plum?

Every four years, following a Presidential Election, the United States Government Policy and Supporting Positions (know as the Plum Book) is printed. It contains all positions in the Federal Government. Career positions have low turnover and often remain consistent. There are also websites dedicated to providing updated information on career employees. Presidential appointees, on the other hand, have a high turnover rate. The current Plum Book was out of date a month after publishing, and there wasn’t a web-site to track Presidential Appointees. Book Plum seeks to fill that gap. We collect and index all known political appointees in the current Administration. We also add in financial filings and other important information - so you know who is making the decisions that effect your life. If you are looking for a job in the next Administration, start with the Plum Book. If you want to know who is running your government today, use Book Plum.
